Terms & Conditions

New Accounts:

To establish an open account you must supply three acceptable credit references and a bank reference or your company must have a satisfactory credit rating with Dun and Bradstreet. Until credit has been established all orders will ship C.O.D. or via MasterCard/Visa/Discover.

Minimum Order:

$50.00 net per order. Each item must be ordered in “Standard Package” quantities shown in the catalog. Orders under $50.00 will be subject to a $5.00 surcharge.

Order Cancellation:

No order can be cancelled, without liability, unless notice of change is made and accepted by Precision Abrasives before work is in process. Cancelled orders where work is in process may be subject to a 15% surcharge.

Quantity Variance:

Due to the nature of manufacturing, Precision Abrasives reserves the right to over or undership each item quantity by 10% unless exact quantities are specified at the time of ordering.

Payment Terms:

Terms are net 30. Any invoice not paid with 45 days will be considered delinquent and all in house orders will be put on hold until all past due invoices have been paid in full.

Freight Terms:

Freight charges on orders with an invoice value of less than $600.00 will be pre-paid and billed to the customer. Orders over $600.00 will be paid by Precision Abrasives as long as the order is shipping to one location and is within the continental United States, excluding Alaska & Hawaii. Under certain conditions there could be exceptions to this policy.

Goods Damaged or Shorted in Transit

Products damaged or shorted in transit (i.e. UPS, USPS, Motor Freight, etc.) require the receiving customer to notify the Transport Company and Precision Abrasives immediately. Receiving agent must show “in writing” any package received damaged or short.

Returned Goods:

No merchandise can be returned without prior authorization and will not be accepted without the proper RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. Our customer service department will fax you the necessary paperwork and all boxes must be clearly marked with the correct RGA number. Goods must be shipped freight “prepaid” and a restocking fee of 15% or $25.00, whichever is greater, will apply unless Precision is deemed at fault. “Custom” manufactured items are non-returnable. Under no circumstance may goods be returned after 6 months from date of shipment.

Pricing:

    • Catalog items are subject to withdrawal without notice
    • Stenographical and clerical errors are subject to correction
    • Prices in this catalog are subject to change without notice
    • Every effort made to notify our customers 30 days prior to any adjustments

Add On Policy:

Every effort will be made to accommodate “add on” requests but under certain circumstances your order will be “deemed” closed and all above conditions will be in effect.
